May 23 - June 7, 2010
We began our stay, May 23rd, our 29th wedding anniversary, at Red Bay, and what a memorable anniversary it was. Our 2006 Phaeton came in and landed at Tiffen's revamped airport and after setting up we went to a very basic restaurant, the best that Red Bay had to offer, and shared a meal and came back to the RV and crashed. We decided to have our fillet Mignon, asparagus and smashed potatoes along with a Merlot the next day.
We had an appointment already for repairing various problems we had with the RV. While patiently waiting for the appointment, we made friends with various couples at the "Tiffen Runway". We were all "in the same boat"; therefore, we kept one another company and for Memorial Day a potluck was planned and well attended and enjoyed by those there. To make a long story short, we had other appointments to take our RV to for certain repair work, and estimates for updates on work to be done in September.
All in all we spent 16 days in Red Bay, Alabama; and left to make our way to South Dakota by way of Tunica, MS. Wweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!
