We have arrived safely. God has been good to us by keeping us safe in all of our travel. We are staying at a privately owned park just outside of the town of Harrison. What else! -- Harrison RV Park! It is about 40 miles from Branson, MO. Guess where we are visiting? At any rate we have found the park to be just okay. The sites are gravel and so close together we weren't certain during setup whether we could let the bedroom slide out or not. Our slide was within 4" of the neighbor's slide. We fortunately had enough room. We will mention that the park is owned and operated by a very nice and accommodating couple. We are going tomorrow to explore the state parks. There is supposed to be a waterfall which we plan to visit. Ozark country is pretty, but we have seen prettier.
Today we went to see the state park. The waterfall was dried up. The park was a complete disappointment as it was underdeveloped for sightseeing and those who walk trails. They weren't marked as they should have been, and there were no place to pull over and look at the countryside. The waterfall could not be helped; however, we wished the State of Arkansas would spend some money on this area.
We went to Branson to see SIX, We had a blast!! They were a great group giving a wonderful performance. They also were Christians, which they shared at the end of the show. Tomorrow morning we leave early on our way to Weston, MO. We shall see......
