Staying at The Lake Catherine State Park is so nice. What isn't so nice is the fact that we are only spending two nights here with just a day, the 10th, to spend to look around the town of Hot Springs and no time to spend in this jewel of a park. The sites are so nice with a good deal of privacy, and the lake is absolutely beautiful. There is a strong rain lasting all night on the 9th, and this rain is the cause of the loss of 20 lives in camping parks in Western Arkansas over night. We are much saddened by this, and pray for their families and their loss, and in some cases losses.
